Not sure if this is at the mod or admin level, but that seems a bit concerning
Reddit tries to shield itself by saying that Lemmy links are spam. In part I got here because I got curious on why they were so insistent on removing the links to an almost unknown place (that was my impression back in the day, now I don’t know how it is perceived from outside).
It’s not exactly a big surprise. I suspect it is on a Mod level as we’ve both posted long lists of links to instances elsewhere and had no problems, so I doubt there is a not scanning for us.
To be fair, my post is still up: https://old.reddit.com/r/BuyFromEU/comments/1j0xkqa/lemmy_as_an_alternative_to_reddit_using/
Maybe they got more strict recently
Thanks I found Lemmy via your Post 👍
Free speech is a threat to profit. Hence all the for profit platforms lacking it meaningfully.
Imagine using Reddit while talking about sourcing from non-US countries. It’s a contradiction of itself
I think it would be goot to promote the Go European firefox extension. It doesn’t have reddit alternative in there yet, so that should be added, but it would be a way to get around the censorship.
Apparently the Chrome version is also live now.
Indeed, I posted about it earlier today: https://fedia.io/m/buyeuropean@feddit.uk/t/1864539/The-Go-European-extension-is-finally-on-Chrome-And-V1-5#comments
The dev told me he was going to join Lemmy in the coming days, let’s see
Now I know where I got it from! Thanks!
Keeping an eye on this one: https://old.reddit.com/r/BuyFromEU/comments/1j2iu7j/reddit_alternative/
It says “[removed]” now.
