I actually had this happen for a while. For some reason it stopped. I still have no idea why. I use vpn and alias emails so one or a combination of both is the problem. After some time, maybe I got my trust level up.

It’s legally protected speech. In real life, you would get the shit knocked out of you, and rightfully so. In online, the most they can do is virtually beat them up or ban from the servers.

It’s harassment. The game or platform should ban or punish the user. This should be protected under free speech. It’s still disgusting though.

When I was recruiting people during r/place and the protests, I found most of the issue being proper user guides to get people to sign up. Lemmy may be pretty confusing, especially to non-techies.

I’m kind of a noob and starting out with Synology helped me learn a lot about networking, protocols, ddns, docker, etc. Wonderful learning experience and it will help me become more confident in building my own nas in the future.
