I’m just going to trust that it’s clever.
Wine that’s gone bad becomes a type of vinegar. As far as horses, might be better displayed as Vin-neigh-grette.
I’m going to guess that she made up the horse named “Red Wine” so she could do her pun on Twitter.
And then when people complain about it she can talk about the “Red Whine”.
