I guess there is the angle that distracting drivers of jeeps with pop up ads is dangerous for other drivers and pedestrians. Jeeps already have fairly poor visibility depending on the model, they ride high and often have oversized tires and accessories.
My understanding is the ads only show up when stopped and more like a notification box. Still ridiculous but could be worse i guess. I’d like to see more advertising laws here. Light up billboards that are basically tvs is way too distracting, especially at night. The human eye and brain are naturally drawn towards that light taking drivers eyes off the road, often subconsciously.

@FireRetardant @grue in the UK we’re not even allowed billboards on motorways as they would be a distraction. Ads *in the car* sounds insane.
