In this age of misinformation, reasonably, people have a hard time finding the humor in false portrayals anymore. You’ve got so much fake and unauthentic material now that people have gotten a bit jaded I think.
You can buy something like that in Japan. So some people in the world do this regularly. But the chickens they use for it are raised in a clean environment, so they unlikely have salmonella.
I’ve tried plenty of types of sushi and sashimi. If I’d ever gotten one that tasted like raw chicken I would have spit it out and demanded my money back lol
For the record I have accidentally eaten raw (undercooked) chicken before, and I cannot imagine why anyone would ever eat it on purpose

Yeah I’ve eaten undercooked chicken before and it tastes awful. Still ate it, but awful.
I remember an Iron Chef episode where they roasted a chicken rare. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Judges loved it.
