TL;DR: Author should stop promoting the book. Publisher can continue promoting the book.
Really? Do you know how or where? I would love that.
Their GitHub is active. I like to check in once or twice a year to see if there is anything new.

Title misleading.
The MS store app is being replaced with a different store app.
Remote Desktop isn’t going away.
“Elon Musk uses X to promote anti EU parties”? My french is not good enough for the second part.
I want on Linux what is already implemented on Windows. It is not like they have to come up with how to do everything from scratch. All the business logic of their application is already there.
What are you talking about? GOG Galaxy 2.0 already has all of that.
I wish GOG’s client was native to Linux, but in lieu of that Heroic is the next best client I have tried.
I want to track time played with GOG.
I want to track achievements with GOG.
I want to chat with my friends via the overlay.
I want cloud sync for my Linux games (only available for game installed as Windows application, means buying a Linux native game pointless).

I think they work as supplements and not replacements. As any tool, they have their use and (for me) can enhance my searching. But I would not replace it with only LLM. (Altough I have never had any great luck with ChatGPT and links, they never work - as in ChatGPT give me an anchor element without any link. It’s better at providing me search terms and concepts to look up for what I need.)
Could very well be with the stated overfills.
A native Linux client for GOG’s platform is a bare minimum one should except.
Encrypted and RAID 0, all disked stored in different locations, two copies of all disks.
I would assume it is OneDev, as the previous poster tried it as an alternative to Forgejo.
Ah, those I know about. I want a magic tool to resize any element in the DOM tree.
