Thanks for making this but some screenshots or a walkthough would be nice. Also any plans to publish it on f-droid?

This came up in my feed.

Bottleneck Bandwidth and Round-trip propagation time (BBR)
What services do you run on FreeBSD? Does using FreeBSD limit you in the number of apps you can have, as most of them target Linux?
Apart from replicating the pixel experience on devices not sold by Google, it was a ROM that enabled people to upload unlimited images/video in any resolution to google photos cloud storage (as it could disguise itself as OG Google Pixel).
I don’t know if it worked well and how google didn’t stop it, but it was one of the highlight of this project.
What table salt substitute do people generally use? I couldn’t find over the counter salt substitute in my area so I’ve been using ginger (fresh sliced or dried powder) so less Sodium is consumed.
According to this page from USDA, it contains more potassium than sodium:
Potassium, K: 415mg
Sodium, Na: 13 mg
Hiding read posts means they’re now lost (when you’re logged in) if you didn’t save the link somewhere. Can’t find it after a day and now you have to check it on incognito.
But if you don’t hide posts you’ve already read, you end up with the same posts on your feed.
it’s a very small nitpick though. having new posts load every time I visit lets me see a lot of new content, I wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
I hope some app devs can put up a section for “read posts” locally so instances aren’t overwhelmed.
That’s just wild. I always heard oxygen deprivation leads to brain damage and stuff?
Between 30-180 seconds of oxygen deprivation, you may lose consciousness. At the one-minute mark, brain cells begin dying. At three minutes, neurons suffer more extensive damage, and lasting brain damage becomes more likely. At five minutes, death becomes imminent
I bought Designer last year as a one off. But there’s no point in mastering it anymore. That’s just going to suck you more into their ecosystem, then a subscription, then raising price, and then whatever they want.
seems like the profanity filter messed up the link.
The “marketing from companies that make extremely bold claims” is also pretty universal. It is not exclusive to any region.
he’s not getting anything done without stackoverflow, so might as well download it all.
Graphics card got way more expensive than the PC I had.
I hope you don’t mind some questions.
I am curious about selfhosting an instance for a community but am afraid federation will consume too much time/resource/money for a side project.
more tools, the better. As long as it’s running on activitypub everyone can talk to each other. I don’t see any problems.
Having a competition might make lemmy devs implement more features or vice versa. It keeps developers from being too egotistical when users have options.
“Please drink verification can to continue emotional support for another hour”
It seems like they’re trying to appeal to admin/users who despise where the developers of Lemmy come from and make them move away from Lemmy to their codebase.
Their “United States of Amewrica” on their github seems all too intentional.
But options are always great as helps the fediverse have options. If lemmy gets too controversial, Lemmy admins can hopefully move over to sublinks without losing functionality.
Of course, one could argue that a Willy Wonka-inspired event that ended with angry parents and crying children is more authentic to Dahl’s novel than any of the recent Wonka movies.
this was funny.
eyewear-free?
what does this mean?
Mostly on Lemmy with Voyager, and sometimes check Reddit with Libreddit (until it lasts).
Best of both worlds.
