12·8 days agoSad the dude behind it is kind of a Jerk. Was bullying a kid on Mastodon just a few weeks back and he got a bunch of backlash for it. Dude also got a bit of a Messiah complex, had to unfollow him 🥴

For sure, feel free to find other articles from a scientific journal to find something with less discrepancy. I just picked something that seemed to be accessible. And unfortunately I don’t remember much on the topic to be of use.
Sure but plenty of processes to make it workable exist. Companies like Microsoft, Netflix and parts of Google rely on NPM (firsthand experience at all these).
So it sounds kind of insane to say nom can’t be used in production.
What do you mean? Also, since when is npm bad to use in production?

Ah I remember, anger is considered a secondary emotion. So it does usually stems from underlying feelings like frustration, fear, hurt, or even sadness. It’s like a defense mechanism.

Isn’t anger a masking emotion or something like that (can’t remember the term). So it’s not like a primordial emotion since it’s always rooted in another emotion.

Lemmy is bigger by a LOT (LIKE A LOT) than mbin and piefed. So don’t see how Lemmy is losing the strong grip it already has on this type of fediverse. Heck, google reddit alternatives and Lemmy is also king.
This change on that site was in 2023. It’s 2025. So it has not impacted Lemmy’s user base.
Any way to migrate a self hosted lemmy instance to piefed?
