  • To be honest, for my use case, its probably not that practical. Enough na for my daily needs yung NextFun Hybrid Tablet/Laptop ko, which is to play Stardew Valley with mods. Lol. And prefer ko dual screen when working, so laptop + portable monitor ang usual setup ko (plus the powerbank).

Pero siguro like someone that replied on my post about this on reddit, their company issued computer is a mini-pc, therefore this setup would enable them to work outside to places na walang outlet, like during long commutes from Manila to province.

Or if one is likes to draw, they could buy the touchscreen variant of a portable monitor and use it as a pseudo tablet. It’s a cheaper alternative than most high end tablets.

  • My vet recommended feeding my cats once a day when they turned 1yo. It was a very noisy transition from being free fed as kittens to only eating once a day.

We all found our happy place by feeding them dry food in the mornings and pudding treats in the evening (its mostly water! < is what I tell to my vet). My vet is happy that my cats are at a healthy weight, my family is happy that we no longer hear the song of our cats’ people at 3am, my cats are happy that they get to eat treats.

Also they don’t vomit anymore and don’t leave any leftovers since they know that it’s the next day before they can eat big again. We were able to maintain their weight at 3.8kg for 6mos now since we started this diet.

  • The society that we know of are not kind to parents.

    1. Sobrang mahal ng bilihin so need na dual income. Very rare ako nakakakita ng may stay at home parent, unless OFW yung isang parent. Flipside, hindi mo mapapalaki on your own anak mo, which is sad.
    2. Ang hirap maghanap ng child minders, I was very surprise to know that the minimum yaya wage as per my peers are at PhP10,000+benefits per month.

Though govt benefits for maternity care are quite good (thank you Mama Risa), pero parang your own your own na after mo manganak.
