I think there’s a really interesting conversation here about what true AI actually is, and what qualifies as crossing the threshold.

As part of this, I think we need to better understand what our on consciousness is and how it works. I know AI “regurgitates” information, but humans quite often do the same. There are obviously some extra components we have such as higher level reasoning, but there are still a lot of unknowns IMO.
