I was always amazed by how utterly stupid an organism can be. And that thing survives somehow in nature.

There is some, as @lnxtx@feddit.nl pointed out, but they are very different to the domesticated guinea pig.
Isn’t that kind of like saying “poodles are extinct in the wild”, when there were never wild poodles in the first place?

One time when transporting my piggies, I forgot to cover the travel cage since we were just going from one side of town to the other. Hawk flew over the car, and poor Snickers lost his mind. He tried to shove his face under Oreo, like a great dane trying to hide from a thunderstorm under a couch.
I like how your amazing guinea pig naming skills are just taken for granted in this story.
