    So it was because of his personality. They probably want a sub for the dom called Max. Bet they are afraid he will not play the supporting role if he was fast in the Red Bull.

      RB is focused on Max and to keep him a champion. Second driver is just someone that needs to perform well enough to secure constructors, not to challenge Max. Yuki might be a bit unstable for that position.

        A bit? He literally brake checked a team mate after the race because he got team orders to let them pass when they were on a different strategy. And he only begrudgingly did that after the tyre advantage would be gone. He’s fast but the idea that any serious team who wants to win championships is ridiculous.

            Racing close with teammates and even dragging your heels with team orders are several orders of magnitude less serious than brake checking your own team mate after the race.
