Okay folks, it is the off season time for useless debates.

If you could change one thing about F1 (and just one thing you anoraks) what would it be and why?

    Get rid of tyre blankets for qualifying. Would mean drivers would have to warm up the tyres themselves before a push lap, which should lead to faster out laps.

      We will have multiple slower laps instead of a single faster lap. See F2 for proof of this.

      This will cause all sorts of problems. Pirelli tires have a pretty small window of temperatures when they are working. Cold tires mean bigger chance of crashing on outlap. Cold tires mean many slow laps to heat them to correct temperatures. I would say it is a good idea, but not with current tires.
