The Cuban Embargo is no joke. Our trade policy has been strangling their economy for decades. The poverty is real and severe, and no other Atlantic nation has the balls to violate our blockade for fear of economic sanction.

One upshot of the Trump/Musk regime tearing out all the copper wires in the various federal agencies may be that our trade sanctions and our role as international banking center deteriorate enough that the Cuban embargo stops functioning.
