I’m worried for them to be honest, the expectations and hype are going to be off the charts, impossible to meet most likely.
I mean, I’ll buy whatever game they make next but I don’t think anyone can hit BG3 levels twice.
They have money now though.
It doesn’t hurt.
I mean they already made two other divinity games. BG 3 wasn’t that different from their winning formula. I think they’re doing fine.
I’d like to see an original IP that isn’t medieval fantasy from Larian. I’m keeping my hopes realistic, though and just expecting something on the level of Divinity: OS 2
I’d love to see something more surreal, and really vibes heavy, like in the Planescape/Numenera vein. I love their characters and writing. In my mind the natural evolution is to spend more time doing character actions outside of combat
