It basically ate all my savings and forced me to take a shitty job after, but it was worth it. Building weird shit to take to the desert, and seeing all the other weirdos out there was inspiring. The arguments about the environmental cost are justified, which makes me sad. I had to fly across a continent and buy all sorts of stupid stuff.
