lol yeah should’ve just sent a taxi and called it a day
I guess it’s another branch?
The face you make when you’ve been lying about Russian losses for the past two years, and now the truth is starting to come out.
US sliding into civil unrest before it’s able to start a world war is a very plausible scenario.
yeah more like forced to
That’s my biggest worry as well, these people are very much starting a nuclear holocaust once they realize their time as the hegemon is over.
the whole fact that it’s just accepted that US plays world police is creepy af to me
I have it on good authority that it was very same day Russian economy collapsed
It’s actually not that high in the context of building fabs. New ones always cost hundreds of billions, and the margins tend to be pretty thin, so companies make money by selling large volumes. This is why US investments in trying to reshore chips are so laughable, this article is a great explanation of how the industry works https://compactmag.com/article/fighting-a-chip-war-on-the-cheap
Unfortunately, this tends to be the case with left wing parties in liberal democracies.
I think that ship might’ve sailed at this point. The west is going into an economic decline, and Africa is developing rapidly. I don’t think there will ever be such a disparity in power between the west and Africa that would allow the west to recolonize going forward.
I’m guessing between Israel and Ukraine, US is starting to have to cut losses.
This is a clear indication of just how thinly stretched the burger empire is at this point.
Oh I completely agree that there’s a ton of hype around this stuff, and I expect the bubble is going to burst as more people start realizing the limitations trying to use it. So yeah, overall I agree with most of what the article is saying.
Tech talk often revolves around the ‘what ifs’. Every new development prompts discussions about potential harm. While it’s crucial to address these concerns, trying to put toothpaste back in the tube is unrealistic. Regulation is key to mitigate problems, but erasing technology altogether is not the solution. We can see an example of this in action in China where games and social media are being regulated to reduce harmful effects on minors, and it works. China isn’t banning games and social media, they’re finding a middle ground that leads to sensible use of the tech.
incidentally, good analysis of the situation https://youtu.be/bxdZg_hbsF4
I believe the technical term for this is clown shit
I’m waiting for BlackRock and other investors who’ve been buying up Ukraine to find out that Russia isn’t going to honor those deals going forward.
lol right, it’s just such a clown show
