I don’t know why i2p would be flaky on macOS. I run i2pd (hate Java) on Linux and macOS and it’s functionally the same.

Who else should we blame? Trump won the popular vote, so it was those who voted for him who caused this. Whether they’re dumb as shit or not doesn’t change that.
I’m a master of not taking sides and it’s very easy to do: just keep your mouth shut.
Transmission is my favorite design-wise on macOS but I wish it had i2p support.
That’s not even the right syntax for the Reddit bot 😆
If I push a dog out of a moving car, who’s responsible for the dog falling? Probably me since I pushed the dog.
Since Trump won the popular vote (this time), whose fault is it that he’s now president?
I didn’t vote for him so I’m confused as to how it’s my fault.
Democrat here and guess who I blame? THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR HIM. And sure enough, they do sure damn well seem dumber than a box of rocks.
I usually call him Jeff Bozo or just Bozo for short.
Screenshots should be against the Geneva Convention. Just post a link please and thank you.
In a production web app I use Gotenberg. It’s definitely overkill for the task at hand, but if you find yourself doing this often I would highly recommend it. It’s dead easy to convert HTML (and I imagine XHTML) to PDF.
Yeah, i2p has a system similar to DNS for human-readable names.
This has crept up on me as I get older. I worked in fast food a lot when I was younger and would just cobble something “healthy” together on breaks. For awhile I drank Huel all the time because I got burned out on food.
After going vegan I discovered a whole new world of flavor, and a bit before that realized I’m obsessed with spicy food (I grew up in the Midwest with very low exposure to spicy food). Now that I have basically all the material things I want, I really value having an incredible meal more. Unfortunately that’s resulted in poor choices and I’m getting fat.
This is actually a great habit my wife and l do. We don’t eat on the couch, we actually have dinner at the table (though admittedly yes, we’ll still watch the TV sometimes from the table).
It just feels so much better. The last time I visited my family (out of state) and we were eating something, I brought my plate to the table and everyone else went to the couch, and it just felt kind of dirty to eat there.
I don’t think “I’ll” is a conjugation but rather a contraction.
Reminds me of my previous job that I stupidly took on because they wanted to go from the developer’s custom fork of Rails 3.2 up to Rails 6 (just released at the time).
The entire thing was spaghetti code and it was so out of date that I couldn’t really do incremental version updates due to libraries just straight up missing or being unmaintained.
My other mistake was thinking that because I had years of Rails experience I could take this on. As expected bugs occurred and everyone pointed their finger at me. I could barely make out what was going on and wasn’t familiar with unit specs at the time (ouch) so it was a poor experience on my end.
(My favorite was them doing currency conversions but storing the results as floats in the database. During a monthly scheduled job thousands of transactions were 1¢ off due to poor rounding. I felt ashamed because before working there I always knew to never do this, but apparently I didn’t do an adequate job of confirming how it worked in this app.)
Scraped a huge chunk of skin off my foot while drunk in a pool. I was at an Airbnb in the desert with some friends.
One friend and I worked our way through 40 beers in about five hours but we didn’t realize that until later on—something about the 110°F weather and swimming made drinking far too easy.
The pool had a very rough texture at the bottom and no part of it was especially deep, so I mainly bounced around on my toes while we were in the pool.
When we finally got out of the pool I saw blood everywhere coming from my foot, it had probably been bleeding for hours because I remembered pretty early on I’d stupidly jumped in and hurt my foot. I immediately went inside and ended up sleeping for 10 hours, missing all the fun everyone else had that evening. Because I was on my toes the entire time my ankles hurt for a few days.
It’s been seven months but I still have a mark on my foot, and it itches sometimes still.
You’re kind of missing the point entirely. We already know that the current methods used to verify age aren’t privacy-respecting and only serve to block legitimate use.
It sure does, but I don’t log my family and friends’ queries so I’ll probably MITM myself using a travel router.
A lot of the macOS networking stack (at a lower level) comes from FreeBSD. People have argued that the BSD network stack is superior to Linux whereas Linux runs applications faster. At a low level, I think this is still accurate.
I’m a Ruby developer but I tried to port a Linux application written in C to macOS before and it was mostly rearranging positional arguments to system API calls; however there’s probably a lot more going on that I’m not aware of too.
