This is a gen x complaint. Boomers would just ask their kids to set it up because they can’t get it to work. Gen x realizes what is going on and that it is bullshit to need an account for a fucking lightbulb.

Did not vote includes a significant number of disenfranchised people who were denied the ability to vote through having the right to vote taken from them, voting suppression barriers such as lines that were 8+ hours long, removal from voter registries, bullshit ID requirements, and other malicious actions.
Tim Walz is the person who actually cares about rural folks that Trump was pretending to be. Of course Walz is known for helping regular middle class folk by primiting green energy, while Trump focused on the coal miners who are small in number who were clinging to a dying pollution causing fossil fuel undustry.
The movement is wonky compared to modern games, and unless you are wanting to do real time DMing it isn’t worth it in my opinion.
It was absolutely fantastic. A full campaign plus all of the DM tools and the ability to run shared servers for people to join and play together!
I really wish they included similar real time DM tools to BG3.
You want this place to be something different than reddit, you shouldn’t be acting like a reddit mod yourself.
The rubber duck method is just another flavor of thinking out loud.
Toastify is apparently something used in the lemmy software to do notifications.
“Toastify is awesome” appears to be the default text. Some other errors that are clear have the same text and colorful square formatting.
So when you see that it is like seeing an error message for “something went wrong” but silly instead.
That’s a good idea, I’ĺl leave myself a note to remember!
Every member of congress that was part of the attempt to overthrow rhe election is an insurrectionist and should be detained or in jail by now.
Dissolving congress isn’t an executive branch power. Congress can just ignore something like that.
The president can’t just will that kind of a thing into existence.
“…Negroid, Caucasoid and Mongoloid…”
Holy shit man, we already suspected you were promoting some racist bullshit, but you didn’t have to lean into it harder.
The ruling explicitly states that those things on the record are not admissible if they were not through some public form of communication. So his phone call to the Georgia governor would be inadmissible even though it is currently public knowledge since it was originally a private call he claims was official business.
His public tweets would be admissible.
My question is, am I really responsible if someone kidnaps her between getting off the Uber and getting into our apartment complex?
Only if you were involved in the kidnapping, like paying them to do it.
Is she trying to guilt trip me into thinkg her anger is justified or am I really a horrible, kidnap-facillitating bad person for missing a few texts?
She is trying to guilt trip you for missing her text by using emotionally ever the top hyperbole which is not gaslighting. Gaslighting requires intentionally lying about something that did not happen to make you question your own experience.
The only smartphones I have used are androids and know for sure that after the call goes to voicemail you can click on the call for more options and and block the number. Not sure if it gives the option during the call unless it suspects it is spam. I just double checked on a number that wasn’t in my contacts.
May not be available on every model, but every one I have owned had the block option.
“I’m not Russian!” - angry orange
This is me if I don’t write down the list.
“It’s just 3 things!”
“I’m gonna write it down anyway.” - me
Forgets list at home.
Prior presidents have done all kinds of shady shit without worrying about prosecution. Even the angry orange didn’t get charged until he tried to overthrow an election.
There was zero reason to even decide this case except to give immunity to someone who blatantly abuses their authority.
The SCOTUS majority just decided that nothing the president does is illegal, at least in a way that can ever be prosecuted.
That is for the better.
