I live in the Panhandle and it’s a hilarious satire on existence. People go to church and talk about community and family, but cheat on their spouses and screech about hyper individualism all the time. They threaten to shoot you with their “come and take it” guns for sneezing too close to their property but then if we get a bunch of snow dumped on us and traffic goes to shit, without fail, the good ol boys in their lifted trucks are all over the high way pulling stuck cars out of the snow. It’s bizarre.

This doesn’t make sense. I keep getting told communism don’t like the gays so communism is bad and capitalism is good because you get to have cars and 1000 types of Hershey candy bars.

I’ve been spending the last 2 days downloading a bunch of horror, ramping up for when I finally get rid of the rest of our subcription services. I can’t even remember when Netflix’s horror selection was even remotely good. Like they have The Ritual and Apostle, but yeah it’s mostly crap.

It’s a rough one but maybe check out Primer.

Also give Paper Girls a try. It’s a graphic novel but Amazon started making it into a show but canceled after one season.
