This is false. They aren’t really that much heavier, 1k lb or so. It’s not the weight that tears up tires it’s the instant and 100% torque when you hit the accelerator. If you go easy on the launches your tires will last longer.

My entire life between growing my own stuff, working retail like home depot, tgt, etc, I’ve never had people call straw or sheeting of any kind “mulch”. Wood? Yep, mulch. Chopped up car tires or other rubber? Yep, mulch. Straw or pine needles? Normally just reffered to as ground covering. I’ve been gardening and growing shit for damn near 30 years. I was growing stuff outside of an apt that had zero accessible dirt and only concrete to work with.
