That seems apparent to me too, but the law isn’t supposed to work on “everyone thinks it’s obvious”.
Due process means getting a conviction before punishing someone, and if that’s skipped for Trump, of course the red states are going to run with that precedent and block Biden from ballots without needing to worry about convicting him of anything.

They never said it was staged, they said he wasn’t convicted, in response to someone else who said not being convicted would mean they couldn’t do it to Biden.
This specific comment thread is about whether conviction is necessary. The post you’re replying to points out Biden and Trump are in the same boat in that regard.

He was responding to another poster who said not being found guilty should make Biden immune to being taken off.
That’s the context in which that was said, and you’re ignoring that context. There’s a big difference between saying it’s also true of trump, for consistencies sake, and someone bringing it up out of the blue to advocate for trump.
You either have poor reading comprehension or you are responding in bad faith.
