Had a manual 2016 Mazda 3. Took a bit to find it with all the options I wanted but it was available at the time.

Yes but also the more people that want e-books the more the library has to pay. I listened in on a reason they were closing a library branch and one reason was the publishers require full amounts for the e-books to be “licensed” and it only lasts for a couple years. Then they just pay for a full price book license again. So over time it’s so much more expensive as the library has a reoccurring price they have to pay per book and can’t even sell off old books to recoup an initial cost.
They even mentioned on the call that they tried to work with other counties to pool their bargaining power and the publishers don’t care and won’t give out any discounts.
Absolutely. I use my tablet almost exclusively as a media device but I do feel it could be so much more. It is nice though to use it while my phone is charging overnight and not wasting battery on the phone while traveling.
I think they’re questioning what exactly you mean with your initial post.
Apple has a default share option of “Save to Files” where you can navigate where you want it saved. The default location is definitely application specific though.
I thought it was “it’s” as it’s a possessive apostrophe?
The policies are Apple’s, so it’s would be an appropriate substitution, no?
Starts as trying to show how you can cheat in bike racing and ends up exposing Russia in a doping scandal within the Olympics. Was a crazy movie but amazing
They weren’t hacked though, right? They just didn’t include the chip verification that we’ve had for decades so people broke into the steering column to turn the ignition. You probably could have used a flathead screwdriver and just jammed that in the key slot and turned and it still would work.
The idea of antiwork isn’t bad though. We should use anything and everything we can to utilize automation to allow people to live with as little work as possible. Is that a reality today, no. Can it be a reality in the future, maybe. Things will need maintenance and upkeep, people will want to innovate and try to build new things, etc. But that doesn’t mean we can’t work on things like UBI, free housing, free medicine, free education, etc.
The idea of heading that direction is (what I understood) the main goal. We’re just going to need to take steps to get there and changing the terrible labor practices we currently have became step 1 and thus a majority of the focus in the subreddit.
That’s the reason I didn’t buy one and made my own. Get a thicker piece of plywood in the size you want, get a box of stick on tiles, and get some decent trim to hide the edges of the plywood and you’re set.
Grief affects people differently. I’m not going to go to into what happened to me, but it definitely motivated me and I’ve been a camp counselor (week long camp counselor, not a licensed or practiced one). I’ve seen a mix of (mostly) kids but still some adults during my volunteering. Rule one is still “you don’t know how they’re going to take it”.
Even better, damp paper towel over the slices, microwaved to heated through. Then while that’s happening melt some butter in the pan, put the hot slices in the melted butter, cover with a kid and wait a few minutes. It’s more work bit it’s almost perfect if you feel like getting more dishes dirty.
Also if I remember right, any unused space can be used by FedEx/UPS to move packages and the airliners get more money from that than passenger’s bags
*And people trying to go third party splitting the Dem votes
That’s how we got Trump in 2016…
If you win the first half, and you win the second half, you win the game
Depends on where you are for “paying extra”. Grocery stores in the US around me don’t charge differently for credit/debit/check/cash. Restaurants are starting to charge credit card fees to people but have a cash/debit “discount” which I’m actively ensuring I use. Probably going to hit up the card companies and explain that the change in cost means their cards are worth less now and I’ll just never use them.
I believe what they’re saying is that if UPS or FedEx is now the postal service they’ll put junk mail for their services in your mailbox. What you consider junk mail is other businesses paying the post office to send mail (though you may not like it).
