Ok, downloaded peertube (because to hell with Google and YouTube) looked around… Um, is there not too much to look at right now? Are the people I normally watch on YouTube unable to be seen on peertube? Don’t get me wrong, all about decentralized everything but if the people I like aren’t there I’m feeling a bit up a creek.
Or, more likely, am I missing something? Forgive me, please, I am rather new to this concept and how to work the federations and such.

Terribly. I was laid off last year on Halloween, and I’ve been trying everything I can to get a job, everything my family and friends can think of. Fuck any sort of standards or pride or anything I may have had previously, I can’t even get hired to work the deli counter at Walmart, even they are denying me for minimum wage! I’ve got a degree, no criminal record, I’ve got previous professional work experience, I’m dropping over a dozen applications a day both online and in person and nothing is working.
I’ve got a about a month left of savings. When it’s out… I guess I just blow my own brains out. My country has made it clear it doesn’t want me, it doesn’t need me, it would rather I perish. I’ll yield, I’m so tired of fighting and scrounging for the right to live and being told I’m not good enough and not worth anything.
I’ll just take their word for it.
