Good analogy
I have the other perspective where I think that highly rated resellers have an incentive to share SMART results and ship good product. Perhaps its eBay centric, it has been my experience for used and refurbished electronics. If it’s any consolation, your perspective is likely what keeps the cost low for these sellers.
It reminds me of the same whatabout-isms that downplayed TikTok as a threat becauae US companies are a threat. I chalk it up to a lack of imagination ironically

I just change it to reader-mode
I used to be a Google News junkie, but I stopped using their products. Now, I have a more streamlined view via these two: https://www.newsminimalist.com/ https://www.boringreport.org/app

IIRC, the music industry was in decline long before Spotify was made. The transition period before Spotify was just illegally downloading everything through Limewire/Kazaa/Napster etc.
Also, the reason podcasts make money is because they can produce something that brings audiences in on a weekly basis. The music industry OTOH has artists that make an album a year or less. It’s not as sustainable and it’s harder to sell ads against.
I don’t think more segmentation is a wanted solution by consumers either. Consumers would much rather use one app for all platforms than have to buy a different streaming service every time they want to listen to a new album.
I made the transition last summer and there was definitely growing pains. Over time it will become second nature like everything else. The advice I would give would be to be patient and accept that you have used a different operating system probably for over a decade, so there will be a learning curve initially.
Also, artificial intelligence models (especially Claude) are very useful for troubleshooting.
Conversely, I have a lot more stamina in the bedroom now that I’ve been regularly cycling

Interesting name choice
Daddy likes leather?
Look up Stetson doggett on youtube. He has the most granular reviews on the (pre-paid especially) options. Personally, I am content with mint mobile, but I occasionally review his videos just to make sure I’m getting the best price
They will have to live with the ramifications the longest. I suppose politics is always been that way where the least engaged suffer the most dire consequences
Chivalry doesn’t start w/ “I dislike you with a passion”
I think the issue is that as a very left-leaning individual, I’m less concerned about laughing at inept financial decisions and more concerned about policy and ways to ensure she never serves in office again.
This idea that “if they are losing we must be winning” is a brand of liberalism that hasn’t been as rampant pre-Trump. It feels like people are stooping to the level of Republicans and get off on schadenfreude instead of actual progressive policy and impact
