How did you install the split APK? It works fine and can record 720p and 4K at 24, 25 and 30fps on my realme 11 pro. Your S22 Ultra should be much more powerful in comparison.

The general populace at large? The amount of ads getting plastered and blasted makes me cringe when I see the non-premium YouTube app. I use adblock and also have premium courtesy of YT music subscription so I’m immune for the most part.
But, non-techy people do not know addblock is an option and also prefer not paying for subscription.
In your case. Consider using newpipe, revanced, invidious or even firefox with ublock-origin. Also, disable the YouTube app to remove the app opening.
The list of supported phones is limited to pixel and samsung smartphones but you should be able to sideload from apkmirror and get it to run with some limitations depending on your phone hardware.

Oppo has now announced global variants of both smartphones, but with radically different specifications. For starters, the cameras on the Reno12 Pro is radically different from the vanilla Reno12. I don’t know what it is with global variants getting worse specs compared to Chinese versions. The other two dimensity SOCs would’ve made these smartphones much better. 7300 is midrange at best.

Android is catering to the general public. The average user would easily understand fast, slow and normal. 20w, 68w, 5w not so much. But, I agree not having to use apps or 3rd party cables just to see the charging watts would be great. Even a Dev flag to enable the feature would be cool.

Personally, I want them segregated. I answer help posts when I have the power to do so. But, I skip when I don’t want to. Seeing them when I don’t want to would be an energy drain.
Someone mentioned they can be filtered. But, I do not see tags or an easy way to do so. I use Sync for Lemmy and Voyager.
