I think sutekhs decision on when to return was related to the whole thing about the Susan Triad on Earth being much more powerful due to the doctor coming back a lot. And Ruby isn’t departing the show.

Pretty sure ruby is back next season, right? And that the new companion is an addition not a replacement.
Ruby stopped Gwilliam because the doctor was gone. When she saved the doctor by stopping him from stepping on the fairy circle, that timeline was wiped out and ruby had a different life where we now see she meets her parents and doesn’t keep travelling with the doctor. But Gwilliam still happens, so the doctor stops him instead.
The operative word is “mandatory”. Medical professionals should have a level of discretion available to them, since not all treatments work for all people, even if it wasn’t such an ineffective treatment being discussed.
100%. When one of the cons is no meaningful protection against injury, a helmet should be a huge pro. It absolutely saves lives.
I think my point was that the chamber of commerce are not lawmakers or judges, but people representing corporate interests
I’m sure the regulator isn’t going to be offended.
Another commenter in this thread noted that the chamber of commerce is just a right wing lobby group, completely separate to the department of commerce. Not sure if you know that already, but I think it basically aligns to the view of the comment you replied to.
PSG I think
News to me as well
The semantics is that downloading is copying something from one computer system to another. Nothing about intent or permanence or whether it’s a temp/cache file or not. If you did not download the file, you cannot have seen it.
Whether you meant to do something or not does not change the action. The colloquial use of the word downloading to mean something different from streaming or browsing does not change the fundamental action.
In the case of WhatsApp, which is specifically in question here, it doesn’t “cache” images in a temporary folder. It saves the images to your devices media folders in their own library. So even by your definition, they’re being downloaded. Now, this is a setting which is on by default so maybe an individual doesn’t realise. It doesn’t mean they’re not downloading the content.
No, he is the CEO of the company “Warner Bros. Discovery” from a quick google. I think it’s just unfamiliar to see someone’s pay increase retroactively, since it literally doesn’t happen for normal people.
Against wolves too, a club that has been a banana peel for us maybe not in the last two years but definitely in years gone by
Bullshit rumours that we are going for both Olise and Isak in the summer lol. I wouldn’t be too mad if we got Olise.
I’d argue taking all of the EFL money away, rather than just taking replays out of the FA cup, is a much more drastic measures seeing as it impacts all eligible teams rather than just those unlucky enough to get a draw in certain rounfs
Interesting point that EPL clubs shouldn’t be in the EFL cup. On one hand I agree, because it’s the EFL cup. But I think the EFL trophy is already serving that purpose. The EFL cup is more opportunities for the same revenue you and @Astrealix have called out as a benefit of the FA cup current format. Maybe the answer is reducing the unplanned impact (I all of a sudden have to play a replay) but making the lower rounds more robust, doing something to ensure that there are no EPL vs EPL matchups up to round X of both the EFL and FA Cup. I don’t know if that’s feasible or desirable, and the flipside is it probably entrenches the “better” teams because it eliminates the possibility of a smaller team getting to the QF or SF with a lucky draw.
The real solution is to dismantle the corporate system that demands unlimited growth of all of these entities so that UEFA doesn’t need to keep adding to the comp to make more money.
Yeah I pretty much agree with you on principle. The FA can’t force the EFL to scrap the cup though. At the end of the day, an action needs to be taken. Agree with the other reply to my comment that it’d all be a moot point if there was transparency over where the “development money” goes.
This is true. The real answer is, he just needs to be better. He will be.
Bruno Fernandes having a dummy spit over a change room would probably be season ending for the club lol
