Just started toying with Jellyfin for my media after Plex started being freaks about everything. I love PlexAmp though so anything that moves the needle on that is excellent. Tried some other players but currently, my setup only works in network and I’ll need to configure SSL somehow.

I’m a sicko for RSS and podcasts but it’s mostly been from The Athletic or Patriots-specific content. Pepper in some YouTube videos and you’re there.

The worst part is how fractured games already are and how this will incentivize it. There’s already Amazon, Peacock, and whatever bullshit you’re dealing with on cable which is impossible to understand. Even the Sunday Ticket doesn’t cover all of your team’s games and that shit’s so overpriced.

100%. Really fun player with a high ceiling and is a testament to his mental toughness and focus. I wouldn’t want him starting the first year, though. Rookies hopping in are burdened with the league’s expectations and just feel like they’re more likely to risk injury.

There are some good gambles in later rounds and Darnold can be a bridge guy, absorbing the shock of hitting the league.

FWIW, QB free agency was also ass. The best contract was given to Kirk Cousins so it shows that the real highlights are already locked up in franchises.

This looks badass. I do wish there were better mobile apps for a lot of these media servers. I’ve been mostly sticking to Plexamp for now cause of it.

The pro bowl is not a way to evaluate if a team has good players.

It’s not perfect but when’s the last time a successful team in the postseason had ZERO pro bowl nominees. It’s just another indicator that this lineup has fallen into disrepair (and that’s not ‘cause of their historically frugal spending…)

Spending future money to have good players now is literally unconditionally not a legitimate approach to rebuilding.

I’ve literally never disagreed with you that wasteful spending is dumb but not every player is getting a 10-year Mahomes contract. You’re more likely to see a 2-3 year contract for a wideout that works perfectly with the ample cap during that window.

And to say pursuing a short-term veteran is never a solution to performance struggles is actually hilarious since it’s historically worked for a number of teams to get into the postseason and even win the Super Bowl.

You’ve yet to point to anything that indicates we’re at risk of being non-compliant with the cap. I’ve never said “blow the whole cap” but have really just emphasized that we needed something, anything to act as a kickstart on offense. It’s just a flat out GM failure to build this team without a single pro bowler.
