I may be a centrist: want a free palestinian state, support the ukranian government, and belive that renewables are not sustainable economically, and be against imigration (I am european, these are not necessarily my opinions, just an example). Because a split on the left, in this case, guarantees a right win. You should, however fight for what you think is right on all days of the year, not just on election season.
