Why not just reply “Oh we have milk!”. Why is deleting messages the best course of action when you can just communicate that you were misinformed?

Agreed, and you know they have a record of these deleted texts internally for their own reasons.
Drinking just lowers inhibition so you say what is on your mind. While the results of such might not be desirable, it is what you thought in that moment.
I still drinking and I don’t like this feature, ya said what ya said. Also anyone who cares keeps records.
Tragic, the line didn’t just go up because one investment was really good.
Nothing, amazon is a leech. Don’t use amazon.
I’m just replying to the “quality and cost” part of your post, which are inherently paired. Yes some products just don’t exist being made in the US, but if the store has a product that costs twice as much made domestically sitting next to a foreign product of the same or close enough quality, the price alone will dictate which they choose. This is often why domestically made versions of products aren’t available without a special order (which is even more expensive) and where tariffs are supposed to be used.
Hard to match cost when labor rights such as minimum wage exist, maybe Trump and Elon will get rid of those too though.
Agreed. You watch one video and the entire homepage changes.
I completely agree that it needs to be amazon-wide. But the reality is it’s a lot easier to close down some nameless warehouse in the area when you can still deliver to your customers out of another nameless warehouse. It’s a lot harder to shut down a store that customers expect to exist and remain where it is. I do think we think alike in the fact that unionization can stem from their customer facing properties into their “business” properties that are hidden from the public.
Hopefully they don’t just shutter the store and open a new one a town over. Maybe whole foods is the entry point for unions into other amazon subsidiaries.
Nvidia about to be selling through another country as Mvidia with their Shifty 90 series.
Tariffs: A list or system of duties imposed by a government on imported or exported goods.
You provide a service, not goods. You will be unaffected by any tariffs.
Then the menu is a broken webpage with “old” prices and the restaurant tries to charge you more than the menu prices. I thought the point of these were to be easily updated.
I’d just skip OpenVPN altogether and get started with Wireguard or Headscale/Tailscale.
This one was huge for me. OpenVPN is pretty heavy with CPU overhead, where as wireguard is almost free. I was getting throttled due to the overhead of OpenVPN and roasting the CPU on my Netgear R6350 (it’s what I had lying around). With wireguard I get nearly the same speeds as without a VPN and my loads are very reasonable.
Also with weaker routers like mine, be wary of trying to use QoS, this will probably not help network congestion and instead become a bottleneck (like it did for me). This is where a beefy dedicated router really shines.
I think the point would to be make them like cigarette warning labels. At the moment the text can be hidden on a bottle or can in tiny text. It needs to be a big ugly white box with a black border and large text that gets people’s attention.
From my understanding, you are pretty safe as long as you don’t provoke them (walking through the middle of them might be considered provoking) or near their calves. This article from the UK states “Where recorded, 91% of HSE reported fatalities on the public were caused by cows with calves”. Basically, mothers with a child are going to be very protective.
Cows are a domesticated creature, so they are generally docile, but I would exercise caution because if need be they will use their mass and strength against you. I’ve heard of stories of farmers running from cows and narrowly escaping under a fence. Most of these did involve a farmer trying to separate a calve from it’s mother. I’ve also heard stories of cows jumping fences.
And as far as memes go:
Is it price gouging if there is a heat advisory is my question, and how enforceable is that. For water it’s just cruel, especially in places with little access to drinkable tap water.
It’s a problem for anyone entering politics. It takes incredible resolve and character to resist selling out. He just didn’t have what it takes.
