Bird flu and quick spread of it is likely caused by massive poultry farms, human induced transfer by trade, and transference from contaminated boots combined with travel.

Unless people in Africa became more educated, so it feels a bit easy to just disregard them. Also, people often don’t change their mind overnight.

But the original law still exempts name change by marriage . To me it feels like name changes not on official public record should be the target, as in a deliberate pseudonym. If this becomes precedent and enforced the whole Irish tax dodging method becomes moot, puting Ireland on par with other EU nations. If this is a high enough fine it will have long term ramifications.

The main issue to me is, big companies will find the next best thing and continue with unethical accounting, outside of the EU.

No, but the cultural way to celebrate has a lot of consumerism to the point that not having any consumerism seems counter cultural to me. Counter to an aspect of it, at least.
