I’m just going to have to disagree with you on that.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
No. I’m not wasting any more time with you. Watch the videos if you want.
(And brother - driving for uber is not “running your own business”… it’s being maximally-exploited by a business… with no liability-protection, no security, and almost zero rights.)
Both can be true! There’s a reason I quit that shit years ago.
I’m not arguing that this is a good deal or met whatever goal. I’m just saying it’s an upgrade. Also, as a former uber driver, there are strategies to make the best use of your time. If this new wage applied to my location I would buy a car and make a killing. That said, I’m in the minority that prefers to run their own business rather than be an employee so if I have to be a wage slave again then no thanks.
That sounds reasonable and still a massive upgrade for drivers.
Add Raytheon to that list.
No offense but your friends sound stupid.
Best decision of my life!
Indeed. Hell my old Ranger had a gap in the bed liner so I could slide a 2x4 (I think I actually used a 2x6) in place and have a perfect divider for groceries right at the tailgate. It was simple and worked perfect. When it was time to do truck shit the board just lifted up and got tossed in with the bricks or whatever.
Mentally, yes. Financially, hell no. I was “essential” through the whole thing which certainly didn’t help my mental state. To be fair, I was in a bad place even without COVID.
It’s crazy when you realize this photo is of present day. Humanity has gotten nowhere in the past few decades.
Sounds like a win/win then.
Or just, a rag doll.
That’s a good point. Perhaps we were just ignorant to how bad everything was back then. I honestly don’t know.
I guess you’re being downvoted by young people that can’t relate. Back in the day it was big news if there was a shooting, and it generally only involved 2 people. People did indeed drive around with rifles on full display. Yet few people were ever shot. Maybe in Detroit or Chicago etc but for the vast majority of the country it was unheard of. Times have changed. Mental health has declined. Everybody is depressed, frustrated, overworked and underpaid. I think such things can lead to violence. People are straight up losing their shit in this country.
Man I feel this so much. Stay well good sir.
That would be my only concern. Like picking something up and have the price increase on my way to the register.
Buyback programs in the US are good for PR but do little to remove guns that would be used in a crime. Mostly people sell their junk and old rifles at these things. Many times, while they’re waiting in line they’ll get a better offer by the mob of people on the sidewalks looking to buy.
Ammo restrictions, I agree would be effective. But the 2nd Amendment would shut that down.
Documented firearms, again the cat is out of the bag. There are millions of undocumented firearms in the US. And no criminal would use one with a paper trail anyway. This just makes things harder for honest people.
Those “proven” methods haven’t worked in the US. The 2nd Amendment and a very armed population will see to it that the guns are here to stay, by force if necessary.
I’m not a defeatist, I’m a realist.
Actually I do have something similar and it is indeed pretty great but q-tips are still in go to the daily use.
