It was significantly harder to set up remote access for Jellyfin than Plex 6 months ago. I ha ent attempted since. With Plex there was literally no set up, it just works. Until it just works without having to do any extra work, Jellyfin will struggle with adoption.
I have both running, and thatd a big difference to me. Also I prefer the way Plex detects intros and credits for skipping and their detection for captions. Once that’s all sorted Jellyfin wins in every field.
I do this too but it only works on my home network not remotely.
With the caviat that you have tailscale enabled on both devices. This prevents it from being used on a roku outside your home but you could access it remotely from your computer/phone/tablet.
It is significantly harder than Plex, currently. There are improvements happening all the time though.
007 can be anyone. James Bond should have relatively consistent features since it’s a character from a book series.
If you want to put a new character in the James Bond franchise but not makes them James Bond, there’s little to argue against that. I just dont see any upside to leashing yourself to that franchise if you want to make something different. The audience won’t be there. It wasn’t there for Ghostbusters.
Sadly, bad behavior from owners are the cause. I have several fruit trees in my backyard and the pest presence is high. If they aren’t harvested and maintained the impact on your neighbors is high. I hate HOAs, but I get why they would prohibit it, and it’s not a class thing, after all…you’re a property owner.
We do. Obviously not everyone can But I wager the number of Americans growing something edible on their space is decent. Usually it’s easy stuff to grow, or someone’s favorites.
Thinking about it and counting in my head I actually know dozens of people that grow tomatoes personally. They grow easily in large quantities in relatively small space and all taste better than store bought.
Citrus has been pretty plentiful my entire life too. Lemon trees especially.
I wish him all the worst.
RFK eats said bat.
I actually never got the impression he was rich from the movies. All Hagrid really says is “You dinne think they’d leave ya with nothing?” And they show a pile of coins.
To a child with almost nothing but some school expenses who lived on handmedowns, he might feel rich but he didn’t rush out and replace his broom himself when it broke each time.
His parents also weren’t old or particularly famous outside their role in Voldy’s death, so I don’t know where the richest could have come from outside his Father’s family.
It’s always this. History has borne it out.
Yeah, i like it when they mix it up. Diverse backgrounds make for interesting stories and engage new people with the genre. Its really lame and insulting when it feels like theyre just trotting a character out to meet a quota and don’t give them any development beyond they’re cultural origin though.
If women want to see more female characters, they should definitely write them and probably not do it with the intention of creating a character “for women” to resonate with, but the larger fandom as a whole. Whenever people declare a target audience, they inevitably alienate others.
“Idiot cashier”… you’re such a jackass.
Stores can’t write off a customer’s point-of-sale donations, because they don’t count as company income, according to tax policy experts. Customers can write off their own donations if they choose. Stores are allowed to write off their own donations, such as when a store donates a certain portion of all its proceeds to charity.
I’m kinda baffled by the ruling being about the rape then. If it’s legal there it didn’t need to even be stated. Instead it should be about the murder of his wife. I wonder what their laws around manslaughter are like. I’m sure the judge would call it an accident (because they’re awful) but it’s still an action that directly led to her death and that seems like something that should be punished.
It won’t help beers but I wouldn’t mind the wide scale reintroduction of decanters to the modern age. I have accumulated a few since I’ve been of drinking age and they all feel fancier than pouring from the bottle.
My goto response is always “who knows?” Like it’s a mystery for the ages, and I’m just as puzzled. That implies I’m just as confused as her and then we can both just keep watching.
Ya know what’s crazy? I got a Steam link when it became available and it barely worked because my computer and router sucked more than I realized at the time. Then last year someone made a video about it and said how awesome it was and I remembered I had it and plugged it in.
They were right! It still works great, and since I’ve upgraded everything since then, I now know my computer was the bottleneck back then. I’m curious what new features a new Steam link could add to make it worth a whole new device at this point.
They don’t unless you have a good contract with them and even then it’s dependent on zones and package size.
Fun fact: USPS acknowledges that our US territories are domestic while UPS and FedEx treat them as international. So its a little more of a chore and cost to ship to Puerto Rico and the like through anyone but USPS from the 50 states.
1 point for me as well, but I had never recorded radio to a cassette. Same age.
