I recall reading a few threads on r/India or similar where it’s clear that they aligned to the Russian narrative.

Sailing cargo ship is a thing. There’s a record breaker recently in fact.
I wonder how this might even work? If the Russians have been so good at oppressing LGBT symbols, then a rainbow is just a rainbow. It’s pretty, why wouldn’t you want jewellery that looks like a rainbow?
That makes it even worse, if it’s comparing buying a house to ripping consumers off.
I’m not so sure. It’s just one home that’s been posted. Then again, the nuance of predatory property ‘investing’ isn’t easy to represent in one picture.
In any case, I don’t get the feeling that the meme is saying that they’re as bad as each other, it’s making excuses for scalper exploiting consumers.
Scalpers trying to justify scalping. Nope. Please find something better to do with your time.
How’s disposable income calculated? Also, once you have your raise, I assume that while you payment might be at a similar level, your take home would still have increased?
I wonder if he said the bit where he suggested that Democrats may not have more seats because of campaign or strategy with a straight face?
Maybe he’s saying that the democratic need to get better at unrigging the maps? Meanwhile he has blocked effectively, so that’s good strategy?
This is probablybyhe feature from Apple that I like the most. Glad to hear that it’s coming to Android.
What if Trump wins and run for a third term? If the constitution isn’t enforced anyway, why would the 2 term limit matter?
Brave man. Can’t even begin to imagine what he must’ve gone through.
Clever jibe. Consider me tickled.
The whole article is quite a dystopian read. Paxton’s intervention into medical decisions is self-righteous, and a statement from an anti-abortion group that was so cruel I felt a little sick.
The article also points out that the eighth circuit has already ruled on a case challenging a similar law, that the law is constitutional.
The article says that they bribed agents from Spanish secret service, making it all the more baffling since the agencies share information anyway. It’s apparently and older programme that continued without the ambassador’s knowledge.
I guess it’d be less catchy if it’d said vape firm calls for tighter regulation on vapes. 🤷🏻♂️
I had an internet discussion with someone who believed that all regulations are bad. I don’t think s/he’s a troll, but tried as I might I couldn’t get this person to agree that at least some regulations might be good.
Can’t remember off the top of my head, but one argument was that even for major safety violations, the market would put them out of business, and other companies won’t do it. I said that this would be after the damage is done and people/environment are hurt, but the person said that regulations are reactive anyway and companies would just stop doing it. It was very frustrating trying to get this person to agree that maybe some regulations can be good.
I learned a bit about how Tennessee legislature works after the expulsion last year. It’s frighteningly undemocratic, and it’s scary to think that it’s gotten even more undemocratic since then. Such a shame, I enjoyed my visit to Nashville a lot.
