I was really hoping this was April Fools

I think they did a fantastic job making each dungeon look unique and lived in, reminds me of Bethesda’s level design in all the best ways.

Everything else is pretty mid, the game neither goes far enough nor polishes any of it’s aspects to the point where they could be a selling point.

The setting is kinda interesting but also kinda dull, the robots and monsters from the trailers looked cool hut that’s all there is, it needs more variety.

Overall, it’s worth playing on gamepass but I’d never pay $50 for such a small game.

Mmm, the structure is more or less the same, you now have 2 (3 with dlc) stories per world that you can get each reroll.

The first game felt like a really cool tech demo with the occasional cool boss here and there.

The sequel is that concept turned into a proper game. Each world now has it’s own mini-campaign that ends in a final boss with dialogue, minor choices and everything.

The bosses are my favorite part though, the main ones are extremely creative and polished, especially the final one.

It’s a big improvement on every area, especially the bosses and levels.

It’s the kind of game that makes it hard to go back to the original.

That’s fine, have fun then.

Remnant 2, it’s third person but it’s one of my favorite games ever.

I’ll be honest, I downloaded Avowed through gamepass and couldn’t stand it for more than 4 hours.

It’s about as dull as a game can be and doesn’t excel at anything, even when compared to games that released 15 years ago.

Do I think it’s garbage? No, but I also would not recommend it to anyone, it’s not worth their time nor money.

30 seconds? You better put some Subway Surfers there or I’m out.

I played it for about 4 hours and dropped it, there just isn’t anything interesting to it.

NPCs are probably the worst part, they couldn’t even make them move around despite Morrowind pulling that off over 20 years ago.

My experience so far has been very different. I have a 6950 and can barely hit 60 fps on high settings with upscaled 4k.

Have you seen what the recent UE5 games play like? Not even frame generation can make them run smoothly.

I honestly prefer creation.

You don’t see how that makes it even more awkward? This is a game with co-op that will throw the horniest scene at you out of nowhere.

The characters keep throwing themselves at you though.

It really sucks when I’m playing a game with my girlfriend and there is a half-naked demon lady trying to bang me despite me being an asshole to them in every interaction.

Baldurs Gate 3 is one of my favorites games ever, but I would enjoy it a lot more without the awkward horny stuff it throws in my face.
