    That’s not how the modern American thinks, we’re so used to things just being always available in mass quantities, we’ve all but forgotten shortages happen and life requires problem solving. Look at what happened with the toliet paper thing, you can easily just use/wash a cloth (obviously not ideal, I’d recommend a bidet first and foremost) but your average American would rather rally at Costco and get into a fist fight over their precious rolls because they can’t comprehend or cope with adaptation, lol.





  • Just pondering the difference between something that is practically inescapable in a finite human lifespan vs something that is surely escapable given a removal of that metric. Merely the first thought I had when enjoying the art, no point to be made of it… More mumblings of a idle fool/thinker?

    Due to the uniquely fucked up way music licensing works, it’s likely they license the lyrics through a separate company than the music and probably don’t even directly license it themselves (Tidal for example uses Musicmatch’s lyric library and api). There’s a cost associated with this that is likely outside their control. It’s shitty, but it is plalusibly reasonable they implemented this as a cost savings measure.
