Yeah, it compresses better too though, and jpeg XL can be configured to compress lossless, which I imagine would also work here
Full disclosure, I didn’t watch the video yet, but it’s likely a difference of environmental impact.
He’s described in previous videos how burning gas at home is less efficient from the standpoint of a carbon footprint. I imagine this video is to help explain everything in a way that helps you come to that conclusion yourself. Teach a man to fish instead of just giving a fish and what not. So you can apply the knowledge to other things in your life
I doubt a central system would ever be viable, but they would certainly communicate to other nearby cars with more than just blinky lights
Native is always better, but Proton (what’s used by steam OS to run windows games) has worked for me for every title I’ve tried (even some small indie titles)… Sometimes graphics settings can be inconsistent, but I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet if you’re using an established engine it will just work with Proton
Yeah I don’t plan on switching unless I feel like I need to… Knowing what made others give up just helps me from wasting time fighting through something that might be a common issue…
I picked Nobara for it to be no-hassle, which it’s done a great job of for me so far
Thanks for taking the time!
Until they call me because the setting they need isn’t in settings…
If you have a moment to indulge a random person…
What made you feel the need to switch off of Nobara? I’ve been using it and it’s been fine, but I’d love to know some things to keep an eye out for
The money isn’t going to come from the game… It’s gonna come from licensing… Everything labeled Minecraft that isn’t the game…
Games are hard… Tshirts and cheap plastic toys are not
Then I’d say nothing you do for work is safe
I wouldn’t go smaller than microATX, and even then I kinda regret not going ATX in mine… Unless you absolutely need to use whatever enclosure you’re looking at… I say keep shopping and find the space for something bigger… It’ll just end up being less wasted effort when you run into a problem that an extra PCI slot could solve
I never understood how me preferring to look at a female figure while playing a game was ever something to question…

Maybe they’re just curious to hear what games are keeping people from switching? To see if it’d be something that would impact them too?
Are you insecure about the games you play so much that you want to keep it a secret?
Balut
Just kidding, don’t Google that
I just use:
Remember when emails weren’t just all “@gmail.com”?? Fediverse is like that but for reddit/twitter/instagram
I had great luck with Anycubic as my first printer… If you want to have a larger variety of materials available I recommend a printer with an enclosure (depending on the age of your kid, it’s a bit safer too?)
I will try I haven’t used them recently but a friend of mine uses a Kobra 4 which produces prints very close in quality to my X1Carbon (I know…). That one has no enclosure, but the Kobra 3 is still available for even less if you really just want to see if the hobby takes hold. They have a Kobra S1 which seems like a decent option but I haven’t done any research.
My personal advice would be to not skimp too much on cost… Trying to stick with my older hardware nearly killed the hobby for me since everyone around me was printing higher quality it a quarter of the time…
Just trying to figure out how to work those blinds to let more sun in
