Well usually yes, but if cpu manufacturers decide to really lean into cramming lots of cores into cpu-s (Like Intel’s big.LITTLE cpus, but even more cores), then we probably will need faster RAM-s, since more core == more memory bandwith demand, and currently this issue has been always resolved by faster RAMs. (Or we could just increase the memory channels)

I would be down to literally anything at this point. Cramming for the uni closing exam for 1month+ everyday is just really tiring me out

Well it definitely seemed like that. Sorry I was just assuming, since most Lemmy people are really anti-establishment on everything basically.

He probably means one of these (or both):

1. New York Times is a huge corporation. The commenter would only support a site which is run by one creator, or with a genuine small team, which is transparent and not an asshole.

2. New York Times is biased politically or accepting bribery attempts from other corpos to make them look in a better light.

Very few of us most definitely (me too, 23), but if necessity brings us back to paper maps, then we are going to get used to it, just as you were.

Healthy property prices could greatly help too, in terms of having more locally nurtured chickens as an example.

I think it is sorta well-known that the meat industry is doing evil practices, but we just sorta unfortunately roll with it, because it would require to majorly change our lifestyle, most likely not being able to use like 50-70% of family recipes, opting for noticeably pricier free range type of meats, or growing their own chickens (with today’s property sizes, it’s pretty challenging) etc.

That also includes me too, I was enjoying homemade chickens for a long time, but that have came to a halt. I will definitely try out a 1 month vegetarian challenge, but I don’t it would be feasible for me for the rest of my life.
