To be fair, the overwhelming majority of people regardless of age don’t know what LaTeX or markdown are. Not the best examples. I’m a millennial with a 4 year STEM degree and I maybe used LaTeX once because it was required, and before Discord became a thing, I’d never heard of markdown. Most people who use Discord probably don’t even know it supports markdown.
I mocked his position and delivery actually because I said he also has poor reading comprehension. I read their entire chain of comments before replying, and it was evident @blindbunny@lemmy.ml was having issues reading and understanding the messages @disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world was sending.
And you’re someone with poor spelling and reading comprehension.
It’s you’re, not your.
It’s extra ironic since the scale goes from 1 to 5 with 3 being in the middle and 1 being nukes are dropping.
Oh I see! Yeah that is a bit strange
My guess is it’s for the women’s restroom because when bathrooms are busy, most women just wait for a stall door to open and don’t always bend over to look under the doors to see if they’re even occupied. It’s also probably hard to see from a distance if the stall is occupied or not and nobody wants to be the one to shamefully walk back to the line because they had to get closer to check.
Cute comic, but for the unaware:
According to John Ciribassi, DVM, DACVB, the problem with laser pointers is that they lack an endpoint. Nothing is ever physically caught. Even if the cat is “successful,” there’s no reward. Such pointless play, says Dr. Ciribassi, can cause some cats to develop a compulsive disorder.

Shouldn’t it be Nightmon?
I’d believe this with how much I see Steve-O drinking it on his YouTube channel. The dude made a point to drive a whole ass vending machine of Liquid Death across the country to his new home lol. At his previous home in California, it was apparently up against the coping of the half pipe in his backyard so you could do trick off of it.
Vitamin D deficiency as well!
Nearly 42% of adults in the United States have a vitamin D deficiency. This figure rises to almost 63% in Hispanic adults and 82% in African American adults.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms
If your shadow is longer than you are tall, you are not getting enough ultraviolet radiation to produce vitamin D. You need about 15 minutes a day.
Some of the symptoms are fatigue and depression
@ch00f@lemmy.world said, “Even if it was free…” which implies he’s talking specifically about the paid button on the right and not the free button on the left.
The implication being even if the chilled and filtered water was also free, having to open an app for the button to work would be bullshit.
It “clearly” says, “USE APP TO ACCESS”, so no, you can’t just push the button. It has to verify your subscription first.
I had never heard Trent Reznor’s original or Johnny Cash’s cover so thank you for mentioning it. What an incredible music video!
Name of the app/service?
I think they just messed up the text because the trucks are in an isometric view while the cars are in a silhouette view which implies the trucks are at a 90° angle to each other
The conference opened a little behind schedule; the Pledge of Allegiance was delayed when organizers couldn’t find a flag. After he searched the conference center’s rooms, Tom Hamner, a Colorado man who served over two years in prison for the felony “interfering with law enforcement” on Jan. 6, 2021, came forward with the scarf from his wife’s neck. It wasn’t exactly a flag, but it was emblazoned with stars and stripes. “That’ll work!” emcee Alex Newman, an Epoch Times contributor, said before he led the crowd of dozens in the pledge.
I’m not sure what’s funnier; that only dozens of people showed up, or that they performed the Pledge of Allegiance to a scarf owned by the wife of a felon because nobody planning the event brought an American flag.
Oh. I genuinely misread OP’s post as Friskies, not Fancy Feast. I agree any wet food is miles better than dry food. Apologies @Dohnuthut@lemmy.world
I will take this opportunity to plug https://catfooddb.com to find quality wet foods because not all are created equally. Many have more fat than protein, which is not normal in the diet of a cat in the wild.
My personal recommendation is Tiki Cat
You’re feeding your cat the equivalent of potato chips. No shit it’s all they want to eat lol
