I post videos of an incredibly niche hobby. I cut my videos to what I think is interesting and I will go back and watch them, but not many other people make videos like mine so I don’t watch many others. Getting video is difficult so a lot doesn’t turn out well. It’s also much more fun in person.

I have been influenced by the motto “Buy once cry once” several times even when “Buy nunce cry nunce” would have also worked.

My HP laserjet 1320n is over 20 years old. Every 6-8 months I have something to print and it does it like a champ. I can even print to it from my phone. Idk the last time I put toner on it.

tl:dw: We knew that’s where baby eels came from but we didn’t know how the adults got there or what the larvae looked like. Baby eel larvae was misidentified as another species and adult eel can take up to 18 months traveling at the bottom of the ocean to get there, during which time they grow their gonads which was another mystery.

You’re already working on it so you’re good. We’ve just had kids ignore it too long which causes more issues. Just don’t force it lol.

At least it didn’t crack the screen with the bad hinge. I think it happens when the screws get a little loose and the angles shift. I work k-12 edu and have seen hundreds of Chromebooks do this.

I feel like all food is moving to JC Penny sales tactics. In what world is a box of cereal $8 but you can get 4 of those same boxes for $9. Same with soda prices. Every other week they run these sales.

7 is fine, 8 is better imo, 9 is atrocious. If they were able to just make 9 decent the sequels would be acceptable. They really, really needed to have these movies thought out from the start though. You can absolutely tell they have no idea where the story goes from one movie to the next.

I don’t understand the long wait list complaint. If I tried to see my Dr I would have to wait months. I routinely hear of people waiting over a year for specialists. In fact, my wife was scheduled to be medically induced for pregnancy due to health reasons and we had to wait day of because they were understaffed! We have to wait and we have to pay!

It was near 100 °F across most of the US last week lol

It’s not a meme, people genuinely get upset about this. There was a post on a lemmy about the Comptia A+ study guide that had the question “What is GNU” with the answer of “It has to do with Linux” and people were writing essays on why this was not correct.

Title got me excited and they are just doing impressions. Which are fossils but not the re-mineralized ones I think of. So I was disappointed, but that’s par for the course for any “proof” of creationism so I set myself up for that one.
