That’s fair! Definitely had a few cash tips but it’s rare enough that I’d decline it since no-tippers don’t add anything 99% of the time
Wow
The driver gets no tip when this happens, Uber pays them like $2
DoorDash, but make sure to take distance to restaurant into account when you tip.
Lots of restaurants (most!) don’t deliver, so calling them directly like others suggested usually won’t do any good.
Spirited Away. I first watched it on cable (with ad breaks!) on my parent’s tiny crt, definitely not ideal
Annihilation is a good one 🐻
Hopeful they have something good for VR players! A lot of the ps people I run into on Pavlov are disappointed that they’ve only got a few good games to return to
All programming skills are generally transferable! :p
But that’s a cop-out… so I’ll say that while the language (GDScript) is domain specific, it’s similar enough to basic Python syntax (no list comprehension or context managers for example) that you’ll probably feel comfortable if you decide to try it out.
What I meant was that Godot is flexible since it comes with a wide variety of ui components, inputs, and can be exported as desktop, web, or mobile.
Edit: you’re on mastodon, neat!
I know some people that treat Godot as a general-use framework! The language is easy enough and the engine itself is built with its own UI, so even if you don’t work on a game you may find something :)
Congrats and good luck learning!
Back when the Steam link was first released you could add notepad as a non-Steam game and then minimize it to get full desktop. I worked like that for an entire summer, it was great! Even with both devices on wifi
I browsed reddit the same way, I’m probably not gonna change. It’s just easier to filter the firehose than make my own from scratch
No problem, good luck!
You do it with markdown

formatting guide in case anyone else wants it (there’s also headers, lists, etc)
Yeah, usually it’s pretty good autocomplete. Definitely makes my coding faster (and highlighting a chunk of SQL and asking it to modify it in plain English is magic)
They have public revisions of every answer and consider deleting good content “vandalism” since it violates license, so it’s no surprise that they’d keep it all
The person that reviews horses in games must be excited! Or scared
Oh nice, this game! I tried following the dev’s YouTube but they post too many livestreams, glad I finally have a game name to remember
