I’m an older Gen Z, but same here. I really don’t know that much but can torrent, so people see me as some sort of tech god lol.

My younger sister on the other hand, also Gen z, is so tech illiterate that her downloads folder is a mess and thinks deleting installers will delete the installed program.

Just wanted to say that while I agree with the spirit of your comment, there are so many Nintendo first party titles that barely hit 30 fps, that a power bump would be nice.

I’m not expecting 4k 144 fps, but just hitting a consistent 30 (or call me crazy, 60) would make me very happy. Playing Xenoblade at sub 720p, or Tears of the Kingdom at less than 30, is just unacceptable imo.

I don’t even care about a Switch 2, just give me a Switch Pro or something, something that can play all the available games well.

As someone who’s also diagnosed with depression I’ll at least say this:

It isn’t inherently a cycle of cruelty and despair. I mean the fact that people tell us otherwise means that, at least for them, it isn’t. It’s sad but there’s a lot to life that we’re just missing.

Edit: Idk what you’ve tried but 10 years of meds never solved anything for me, but psychedelics came close. I never appreciated life more than when I tried shrooms.

Tbh once the Steam Deck released I haven’t picked mine up once. Barring grabbing keys and dumping games for emulation.

But tbf I don’t really prioritize Switch exclusives and more used my Switch just to play my favorite games, all of which are on Steam. If I only played Nintendo games it’d be a different story I’m sure.
