    The original was done in their in-house engine and was one of if not the very first commercial game using vulkan. It had a native linux version, hell, even the VR version supported linux natively.

    This remake is UE5, windows only, and presumably directx only. It makes me sad.

      As much as that sucks, it’s virtually impossible to make both an engine and a game. If a company wants to ship games, they shouldn’t build their own engine.

    One of the best gaming experiences. Incredibly well made level design, and if you want a philosophical existential crisis they got you covered as well!
