Brevard County Deputy Lexi Gordon, assisted by K9 Aurora, pulled over a vehicle in which Teryn Acri was a passenger, according to police.
A search of her belongings led to the discovery of a bag labeled “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs,” which indeed contained methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, and other drug-related items.
…
The case echoes a similar incident in Oregon in October 2024, when police discovered a bag with the same “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs” note during a traffic stop that uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, cash, and a loaded revolver.
I don’t think Narcan should be counted among the drug paraphernalia. It actually stops drugs. It should be counted as anti-drug paraphernalia and cancel out something else from the list.
Jokes aside, if you start counting having a Narcan kit as suspecting criminal behaviour, you’ll discourage Narcan kits and people will die.
They already have in my area. My husband took the training and they told him not to have it visible in his car or bags. Hide it until you need it.
Aww, her sad face.
“Can’t trust anyone these days. It said it wasn’t full of drugs, but they looked anyway. What’s the world coming to?”
ACAB, man - All Cops Are Baggage-handlers.
Definitely not having a good day…
“But it was the perfect cover…”
Having drugs shouldn’t be illegal.
I agree, but I do think that it should be illegal to carry your drugs in a bag labelled ‘definitely not a bag of drugs’ I mean that’s just false advertising. I mean where does it end? school shootings using guns that have labels saying ‘definitely not a gun’ and bullets with engravings that say ‘definitely not a bullet’?
Ah no, the Floridian trick didn’t work!
Thought she cracked the code 😔
They’ll never search this bag!
At this point, can we conclude that most people who buy these bags are putting drugs in them?
This is just sad. ACAB
The trick is to mark the bag as actually being full of drugs so they just laugh at the joke and move on. 😌
This is how my friend in Florida got his bag full of airsoft guns past a school resource officer - he just told her the bag was full of guns. Apparently that works on Florida cops. 🤷♂️
