    This saddens the hell out of me. I’m doing what I can to keep my impact minimal but still. To be alive, to engineer, hurts the planet if you’re not very very careful.

    We can’t even agree on the definition of life (within the context of the search for life). Largely we’ve settled on: whatever definition helps win grants!
