    “Forever” unless the knowledge is out of date, or you don’t use it and forget, or until Alzheimer’s or some other dementia happens and everything disappears (or until your death, I suppose, but gold also tends to change hands around that time).

    Unpopular opinion (apparently): I value the overpriced, yet imo absolutely priceless, education I received when I was in college/at a university.

    It’s honestly unbelievable (to me) how much people in the US look down on learning and getting an education

      This has nothing to do with education. It’s commentary on the academic job market and how professors expect post docs to work for “exposure.
