I don’t have high hopes even for a fork. Reddit clones tend to attract people who were banned from Reddit and there tends to be a reason for that.
The best thing would be for a third party support community to spring up, possibly with a dedicated instance so that admins don’t get locked out of support for wrongthink.
It’s more so, “Can we really trust these guys to be developing Lemmy?”
